In the history of the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR racing, the race begins with the phrase “Gentlemen Start Your Engines!” In 2017 it was decided, due to there being men and women drivers, the starting command should be changed to “Drivers Start Your Engines!”
As we dig into the start of this new ministry I would say, “Christians Start Your Hearts”. This IS NOT referring to the use of a Defibrillator to restart a human heart that has stopped beating. But rather it is a resource to encourage and equip Christians to continually keep focusing on Finishing the Human Race that we are called to run in.
When we say, “REV UP Your Life With JESUS!” In staying with our race car analogy, race cars are designed to win races, and incorporate the proper equipment to be successful in the specific race you are running in.
This is why we believe the phrase “R.P.M.4.U” is all about being a resource for Christians to be successful in “Finishing Well” this race that God has placed us in. There is a very clear similarity and simplicity in the knowledge that increasing R.P.M.’s which is “Revolutions Per Minute”, also increases the POWER which is generated by the Engine. This power increases the ability to be more efficient and effective to Compete and Complete the race we’re called to.
In that same way, R.P.M. Ministries, which is “Robert Pirylis Missions” is for the purpose of supplying a weekly resource to help Equip, Edify and Empower fellow believers for the Human Race we are running in. For we will increase God’s Power in our lives by using a variety of headings to “REV UP Your Life With JESUS”. REV is an acronym for R = Reading God’s Word, . . E = Evangelizing God’s World . . . .and being V = Victorious In God’s Son.
